Today we had orientation at the International School of Beijing for Julia. We took both of the girls to check out their new school. The facility is unbelievable! There are 6 gyms, 3 theaters, 2 cafeterias, a pool and a turf pitch soccer stadium that is nicer than most colleges get to play on. All this and they will get their own Mac Tablet issued to them on Wednesday. Needless to say the girls were giddy!
We also met some very nice people that will be starting at their school as well. One of the first families that we met were from Australia. They have a daughter Julia's age and one Ella's age. After chatting with their mom for a while we started talking about where they were going to live and we realized that we are literally going to be next door neighbors! Our houses are almost attached. All of the girls were ecstatic and so were us mom's. I can't wait for the girls to get started at this school. The opportunities for them to learn and experience new things are going to be endless!
