Happy 10th Birthday Ella Claire!

The day after the marathon was an even bigger day in the DeSmet household.  It was Ella's big double digit birthday!  We spent the day as a family going for a bike ride, going to play on the bounce slide by the grocery store, having dinner and the most delicious chocolate cake you have ever tasted (compliments of my friend Kasey). 
I can't believe she is already 10.  There is never a dull moment with this child.  She is very smart, wickedly funny and extremely lovable.  What a blessing from God!

Mr. Lou (our driver) gave Ella a gift.  It is a statue of her Chinese zodiac "the year of the sheep".
